Financial Information

The tuition and fees of East River School of Ministry have been set with the student in mind. Every attempt has been made to make education affordable while providing excellent preparation for service in ministry.

Tuition

Tuition is $249 per class. Estimated yearly tuition cost for a full-time student is approximately $1500 plus applicable fees and textbooks. Fees to audit a class is $249 per class plus the cost of the text book. No grade or credit will be given to students who elect to audit. Students must declare audit status at time of registration.

Registration

Audit and 2-year track students must officially register with the School of Ministry and pay registration fees prior to taking classes.

How to Pay

All registration and tuition can be paid at deeperlives.com under the “giving” tab. Students should purchase and pay for textbooks on their own.

Textbooks

The cost of textbooks will vary with each class. Textbooks are required and are assigned by each faculty member. Students should have textbooks prior to the first day of class. Hard copies are preferred over e-readers. .

Bible Translation

The ERF SOM does not endorse any specific bible translation, however for the purposes of study for the SOM the New King James Version is the translation of choice for all course work. Faculty have the option to assign reading from other translations; students should follow all course work as assigned by faculty

Transcript Fees

Students will receive two copies of official transcripts as a part of their graduation package. All other transcripts are subject to cost. Allow up to six weeks for processing. The East River School of Ministry is not an accredited college. Coursework and completion certificates may not transfer to accredited academic agencies. Students who are considering transferring to an accredited college should thoroughly investigate their transfer options prior to enrolling in the ERF SOM.

Payment Plan

Students who audit courses are expected to pay for the class at time of registration. Students enrolled in the 2-year program will pay for the full term either in whole at the time of registration or tuition can split tuition into 3, 6 or 12 payments. The first payment is due at registration. A payment schedule for the balance will be provided at registration. All debt must be paid by the end of the academic year. Students with unpaid accounts at the end of the academic year will not be allowed to re-enroll, receive transcripts or grades until the account is settled.

Refund Policy for Dropped Classes

Before 1st Day of Class - 100% Refund
End of 1st Week of Term - 75% Refund
End of 2nd Week of Term - 50% Refund
Start of 3rd Week of Term - No Refund

Students can receive a full refund if courses are dropped in writing before the 1st day of class. Refunds will not be given after the first day of the 3rd week of the term. Penalties for late payments are assessed by 5:00 p.m. of the last day on the applicable week and refunds apply only to paid tuition.
