Missions Track

Every follower of Jesus is called to be a part of the Great Commission, to go into all the world and make disciples. This is the driving passion of the Missions Track

The Missions student will pursue a vibrant, growing relationship with God, a servant heart, a Spirit-filled life, and full surrender to the Lordship of Jesus in order to be positioned to take the gospel into the world. Students will learn to understand and reflect the heart of God to people of every culture and begin to implement a missional lifestyle. Students will study biblical ways to reach people of every world view that will allow them to respect, honor, embrace, and value every culture, and see the image of God in each person they have the privilege of serving.

In the past, missions usually meant traveling to other countries. Today the cultures of the world are found on our doorstep - what an opportunity! Understanding this, we study principles and strategies for going across the street or across the ocean and spend time during the course of study putting those principles into practice.

“Being a part of The School of Ministry has opened my eyes to how differently people think and act, and how humble I need to be…”
