Worship Track

This track is meant to prepare students for leadership positions in worship in a variety of settings. All course work for this track includes theology, hermeneutics for worship, leading teams, and music composition.

Internships for this track of study will include ministry outside of worship opportunities in the first year; second year will include participation in worship teams, media and sound board, and AV teams.

While it isn’t a requirement, students interested in this track should already have some form of instrumental experience prior to entry for the best academic experience.

  • Walk the Talk: Practical Advice for Every Ministry Leader

  • Ministry Toolkit: Prayer, Authority, and Spiritual Warfare

  • Christian Theology

  • Instruments and Songwriting

  • Hermeneutics for Worship Leaders

  • Internship Year 1 and 2

The East River School of Ministry is not an accredited college. Coursework and completion certificates may not transfer to accredited academic agencies. Students who are considering transferring to an accredited college should thoroughly investigate their transfer options prior to enrolling in the ERF SOM.

**Ministry opportunities may be presented outside of the Hillsboro, Oregon area. All travel is at the expense of the student including airfare, living arrangements, food, passports, etc. as an additional expense to tuition. ERF SOM will follow all travel restrictions as presented by the United States and other governments. Travel abroad is not guaranteed.
